On June 18th, the team of C. de Salamanca | Ferrari Marbella had the honor of accompanying a group of clients to a truly exclusive experience: Passione Ferrari Barcelona, one of the most important events in Ferrari’s calendar. Held at the prestigious Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
From the very beginning, the atmosphere was unbeatable. Guests arrived on Friday at the Hotel Eurostars Gran Marina, located at Barcelona’s port, a setting that perfectly combined the modernity of the city with the tranquility and open views of the Mediterranean Sea. Our clients were welcomed into an elegant and relaxed environment, enjoying personalized attention and five-star comfort worthy of the occasion.
As evening fell, we headed to the hotel rooftop terrace, right by the pool, where an informal cocktail reception kicked off the experience. With views over the sea and the city skyline, it was the perfect setting to connect, toast, and share the excitement for what was to come. Later, the group moved to the exclusive Altamar Restaurant, located atop the Torre de Sant Sebastià. Surrounded by glass walls offering panoramic views, we enjoyed a signature dinner where Mediterranean cuisine was paired with a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere.
After an unforgettable evening, Saturday morning we set off for the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, one of Europe’s most iconic tracks and a regular on both the Formula 1 and MotoGP calendars. There, a day full of adrenaline and driving thrills began. Clients had the opportunity to drive their own Ferraris on track—an unforgettable way to feel the brand’s true essence: power, precision, and elegance on asphalt.
Throughout the day, exclusive test drives of Ferrari’s most emblematic current models were also offered. Among the most coveted was the Ferrari Roma Spider, an elegant and sporty coupé, with its classic design and 620-hp turbo V8 engine.
Another highlight was the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, the brand’s first series-production plug-in hybrid, delivering a combined 1,000 hp with all-wheel drive.
Driving enthusiasts also thrilled at the Ferrari 296 GTB, the two-seater berlinetta with a hybrid V6 engine offering 830 hp of pure excitement, standing out for its agility on track and remarkable technical design.
In addition to the driving sessions, guests enjoyed a professional simulator—ideal for perfecting technique and learning the circuit before hitting the track—along with a premium catering service featuring fresh, refined gastronomy to recharge between stints.
One of the day’s most exciting moments was witnessing the Ferrari Challenge races live, one of the world’s most prestigious single-make competitions. Watching drivers from different countries compete in such a demanding environment was a true spectacle. We also had exclusive access to the paddock tour, a guided visit through the technical area where race cars are prepared, and the gridwalk, which allowed us to walk along the starting grid just before the races began.
As night fell, a new venue awaited us to continue the celebration. We moved to the spectacular Recinto Modernista de Barcelona, a space filled with history and architectural beauty, where we enjoyed an elegant and emotional dinner. The evening was accompanied by the live performance of a music group that instantly connected with the audience. Blending sensitivity and energy, their repertoire provided the perfect finale to a day full of sensations.
Sunday dawned with more action at the circuit. To crown the event, a grand parade was held—a very special moment in which all clients entered the track with their cars for a lap of honor. It was an impressive sight: dozens of Ferrari models, from the 458 Spider to the latest SF90 Spider or 296 GTS, rolling together on the track, symbolizing the unity and passion of the entire community.
The day continued with more races, more track time, and the chance to keep sharing anecdotes, emotions, and smiles among friends. The farewell was sweet, with the certainty that we had all experienced something truly special.
