Esperienza Ferrari Varano 4

This week we were in Salsomaggiore Terme, Italy, for an exclusive Ferrari event: Esperienza Ferrari Varano. Some invited clients were able to live this unique experience, over two unforgettable days.

Arrival took place on Wednesday morning at the Grand Hotel de Salsomaggiore, a five-star hotel in the province of Parma, an elegant and luxurious building built in Art Nouveau style. Guests came from all over Europe from official Ferrari dealerships to enjoy a buffet lunch before a briefing before the first test drives on the road.

The guests were able to test drive the 296 GTB in the magnificent green landscapes of Salsomaggiore Terme, between nature and mountains. The characteristics that most impressed the drivers were the ease of driving, the stability and the power of the latest Ferrari available model. In parallel there were activities such as the driving simulator, fun and appreciated by all and that served as a first taste of the next day planned on a real circuit. Relaxation was also part of the programme with access to the hotel SPA, and Italian wine and cheese tasting in the afternoon.

The day ended with a dinner at Castello Di Tabiano, a Relais de Charme within an ancient settlement with this castle nestled among the green hills of the province of Parma. The arrival was spectacular at sunset in this castle dressed in red lights for the occasion, the interior decorated in Renaissance style, made this dinner a magical moment. Good atmosphere, carefully chosen wines as a perfect match with the Italian food and fresh local produce exceeded expectations.

The track day was the highlight of the day, with fantastic weather to accompany us, the definition of driving pleasure was not an empty promise. The technical circuit of Varano was the perfect place to push the Prancing Horse coupé but also to improve the driving skills of the guests. The words fun to drive were not unintentionally chosen by the brand, the smiles and the "wow" of the guests getting out of the 296 GTB confirmed the slogan chosen for the model.

To close these unforgettable moments all the participants were invited to a buffet lunch with exceptional food, as expected in Italy, which never disappoints.
